Over the past month or so I have been showing my support to 3 projects by some amazing artists. So I thought I’d take this opportunity to give you an update on how it is all going. If you haven’t heard of these projects or artists, I will add links to let to show your support and find some amazing new music.
Wow, this is a juggernaut of a project! Nothing is stopping this train as its already smashed its target and is looking to raise enough cash for world tour domination! Cherry Suede are an amazing rock band from Canada who’s original album is a hidden gem. At this rate it won’t be hidden for much longer!
With this project, the more they raise the more places they can perform their music live. So if you want them to play at a venue near you, show your support and let them know where you are (they may add a gig local to you). Its sad for me to say that Lloyd didn’t hit his target and I have to admit, I’m not sure how. Here is an artist who I’ve had the pleasure of talking to and he is a musician of real talent. I mentioned in My New Pledge Lloyd Williams that I pledged for his previous album. Well, I’m still planning to get the album as his music is amazing and has opened my music mind to new styles. I can assure you all that this is NOT the last you have heard of Lloyd on my blog. I am a fan and I will continue you support his music.
This project is going well but we still need a bigger push to hit the target. Thomas is looking to raise funds to spread his music to UK shores. He has added lots of unique rewards to his pledge project which now includes personal telephone calls, dinner with the band and even a chance to become his support act (very cool).
